Ramadhan Al Mubarak

Aaaaghhhhh! Been ages since I last wrote here! Lots have happened and I missed jotting it down...

It's already 25 August 2011 and it's Hakim's 14th birthday today! Haven't got anything today, but am pretty sure I got something for him earlier which is his camera lenses and such. He sure got lots of stuffs from me compared to his siblings... It's the 25th day of Ramadhan too and practically have not bought any new clothes for the kids! Planned to drive up to KL on Saturday after Subuh prayers and praying the traffic has eased.. Probably coming back to JB on 2nd day of Eid Fitri as Hazimah will be sitting for her UPSR on 13 September 2011. She obtained 5 As for her trial and hoping to maintain for the actual UPSR.

Hakim has been improving in terms of position in class and hope will improve further in preparation for his PMR (From 3). He's just too engrossed with his Fixie bike that is taking up most of his free time.

Hazimah has been pretty active still this year despite her preparation for UPSR. She still managed to be selected to represent Zon Utara for the netball competition, combining with Sek Kebangsaan Taman University... 2, if I'm not mistaken! She did well in her co-curriculum and has been appointed as Treasurer in the clubs that she attends in school.

Hazim was appointed as a Prefect this year and he was soo excited about it. He is really matured for his age. Doing pretty well in school, also in sports and football.

Love ya all, Darlings!

Feeling a bit down today as I dont feel that well! Must have over stretched myself over the weekend when I did some rearranging of my bedroom.
Just the day before I just came back from my 1 week's course on Safety Health Officer module 4 in Bangi. I then did all the cleaning up and getting rid of all the unwanted dust and stuffs! This morning I got up with a sore throat and yuks.... it hurts! My bro went back yesterday on 15 September 2009 and I only managed to get out of the office at 6.15pm! Definitely too late to cook for breakfast..... so off to Perling Mall as Hazim woke up late from his afternoon siesta..... Had a quick McD and we were off to the Surau in Taman Sutera. It was empty as everyone were still breakfasting.
Miss having Man around already... sigh!
Did only 8 raka'at as I was feeling pretty exhausted after a days work and presenting to DOE.
The kids all went to sleep by about 10pm.
Surprisingly Hakim slept in my room ever since I change the location of my bed..... hmmm wonder why! One thing, energy saving as there's one less fan on during nite time...
Yesterday Hazim was pestering me as they wanted to join in the Putera Puteri of Taman Sutera! Same goes for Hazimah.. I dont mind, but I'll have to prepare them for it.... should start them with their catwalk. :-D

Hazim - Hot water incident

Fasting month started on Saturday, 22 August 2009 and I did a spring cleaning of the house by rearranging my furnitures and disposing some in my living room! Sunday was continuing the cleaning up when during the break, I realised that the flask was empty, so I boiled water and continued with my spring cleaning and forgot about the boiling water. Hazim hepled me with peeling the pomegranate fruit for us to eat after break fasting and wanted to keep in the fridge when I suddenly heard a loud shrieking scream from him. I went to him to ask and suddenly realised that the hot water was on him!
My brother asked me to bring him to the clinic and I was actually blanked out and was in a dazed. I came to it and asked my bro to spray tap water on to the affected area! Then I quickly loosely wrapped him with a kain pelekat and carried him into car, driven by my bro!
It was so agonising to see Hazim squirming in pain and crying. I apologised many times for my carelessness but comforted him that Allah is testing him and that he is being loved.
I asked him visualise and to pass his pain to me, but he said he could not.
I asked him to think of good happy things, he said he could not as the pain was unbearable.
Even when the doctor wanted to gave him the pain killer, he refuse to drink and wanted to still fast! We had to coax him that it is alright as he needs to drink and have the pain killer to reduce the pain.
After the wound was splatterd with SSD cream, the doctor wrapped the affected area with crepe bandage andgave him pain killer and antibiotic. Took him back and he was groaning on and off in pain.
Then Hazim was calling "Kakak!" Was wondering for what! Then he said " tengokan Pet Society".... I asked him just to rest and dont think about that... he said that he is trying to think of other things rather than his pain... and we laugh.
Suddenly when the pain killer took effect, he said "tak sakit dah" and he was practically wanting to walk which I discouraged..... and asked him to just go to sleep.

The next day my bro took him to the clinic again as I was off at the office and I cant imagine when my bro told me that the doctoc practically peeled the burnt skin while Hazim was yelling in pain..... such agony just hearing his story!
The next 2days he wanted to follow me to the surau for tarawih and was walking around though we storngly discourage and the fourth day we took him to Klinik Suzanna and got the wound cleaned up and the doctor told him not to walk so much to expedite the healing. Then only did he sit around and not even bend his knees.

Good thing it was school holidays for a week so he did not miss any lessons. I took leave on 25th afternoon and the next day and we drove up to KL on 26th after Hakim came back from his tuition classes.
Went 2x to the kl clinic for dressing (with Biocin-antibiotic powder) and the wound has started healing nicely. Even the new skin has developed and yesterday we went to Klinik Suzanna to check what cream to be used as I noticed that the skin is a bit dry. She gave "Scargel" and mederma is out of stock.

The passed 2 days, Hazim was at home as I require him to air his would and let it dry faster. This morning, the redness has gone and is healing nicely.

First Blog

This is specially dedicated for my kids.
Its about what we did together and what are my inspirations from them.....
Though this blog was created on 29 may 2009, I am only able to continue today, 6 August 2009.

I have 3 lovely kids who I adore sooo very much! They are the centre of my focus and hapiness!

Mohamad Norhakim is turning 12 years of age on 25 August this year and is in Standard 6 for the primary school and also attending standard 5 for the religious school.
Very street smart and indepandant child where he started walking at the age of 10 months.
A couple of times that I lost him at mall, but he will find a way to come back to where we are with him last. He is also the first grandchild to my parents and nephew to my siblings and they shower him with lots of love.

Nor Hazimah is the second child, 10 yrs old last 8 January 2009 and is in standard 4 for both primary and religious school. Very pretty and getting lots of compliments from friends and even strangers for her fair skin and pretty eyes. Doing very well at school and is also matured for her age! She loves helping out and likes to do crafts. She also likes to draw short cartoon script on tiny papers that some must use a magnifying glass to read! :-)

Mohamad Norhazim, the youngest, is turning 7 on 11 November 2009 and is in standard 1 for both primary and religious schools. This child knows how to play around my fingers and is the first to say 'Sorry" if he does a misdeed or has made me upset! Can be very helpful and is very matured for his age too!

Hakim, my eldest is practicing hard for his UPSR exam next month. During the Gerak Gempur, which started early this week, he came back yesterday from tuition and informed me that he got an "A" for his Math! just got a cal from him that he got another "A" for his Science! I know he can do it if he wants to. he also got a "B" for 1 of the BM paper, which he could get to "A" if he practiced a bit more. I pray that he will do well and be proud of whatever he achieved as he has done his best!
